2019 Trip Registration

The marching band and orchestra will travel to Florida over winter break 2019 to play at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville during halftime and at Universal Studios in Orlando respectively.   To receive updates on the trip please fill out this form.  Students will be sent home with information packets in the upcoming weeks.  Parents are invited to attend the Tuesday, February 12,  IMA meeting at 7 pm in the cafeteria to receive more information about the trip.

Winter Band Concert

The winter band concert is Friday, January 18, at 7 pm at the high school.  Please come out to hear the students play.  Refreshments will be available for a small fee.  

Spring Craft Show Seeks Vendors

The EAHS Instrumental Music Association will be holding its biannual craft show on Saturday, March 30, 2019. We would like to take this opportunity to personally invite you to become a crafter/vendor at our Spring Craft Show. The show will be held from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Easton Area High School cafeteria, 2601 William Penn Highway, Easton, PA 18045. This will be an ideal opportunity to sell your unique items. This event is an important fundraiser for the IMA and provides invaluable support for the instrumental students at the high school. We hope you will assist in our fundraising efforts and participate in our Spring craft show.  Please fill out and return this form to secure your spot.

Pastie Fundraiser

Brrrrrrrrr! The weather is getting colder.  A nice warm “Pastie” baked in the oven would hit the spot right now!  What is a pastie?  A pastie is a hand-made, naturally good, meat or vegetable pie turnover.  Mr. Pastie pasties are delivered frozen and are great for lunch, dinner or after school snacks.  Now is your chance to stock up AND earn music money.  This sale will take place in January with a February delivery.

  • Orders will be collected from January 14 through January 25.
  • Delivery date:  Wednesday, February 20 from 3:00 to 5:30 in the Senior Cafeteria
  • Delivery SNOW date:  Thursday, February 21 from 3:00 to 5:30 in Senior Cafeteria

Directions: Record your orders on the Order Form.  Fill in the totals from your order form on the Order Summary Sheet.  Turn in your payment and the Order Summary Sheet only by the date above to the lock box in the band room.  Make checks payable to IMA.  Keep the Order Form to use for delivery to your customers.

February IMA Meeting

The next IMA meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at 7 pm in the Easton High School cafeteria.   The IMA meetings are always held the second Tuesday of the month (please pen us into your calendar).  All are welcome to attend.  This is a great way to learn about the committees that need volunteers and  get to hear band updates first -hand from Mr. Ballentine.

A member of our instrumental family had a  house fire and their residence is not habitable.  It is a family of four with two dogs. They are currently in temporary housing. We are looking to collect donations in the form of gift cards to pass on to the family. Donations can be sent or dropped off at 2690 Penns Ridge Blvd, Easton, PA 18040. Any monetary donations should be made out to the Easton Instrumental Music Association and will be passed onto the family.  Please contact Matt Gifford @ mdgiff@gmail.com with any questions.

The family is also in need of meals as they only have a two-burner stove and no oven in their temporary home.  If you are interested in making a meal, please text  Kimberly VanPell directly via cell/text at 484-241-7594 with your email address and you will receive an email to sign up for the meal train.
